Tandoori Chicken Recipe Pakistani – Tandoori Chicken BBQ 3 Steps by (HUMA IN THE KITCHEN)



Tandoori Chicken is traditionally prepared in clay oven ( a tandoor) but can also be prepared on barbecue grill or bake it.. Chicken is marinated with yogurt and spices (tandoori masala) and food colour is used to achieve bright colour. Charcoal gives a smokey flavour. Try this restaurant style Tandoori Chicken Recipe. Serve with tandoori naan and chutney.
INGREDIENTS:
5-6 chicken leg quarters/tikka pieces
4 tbsp yogurt
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
Spices For Tandoori Masala:
salt to taste
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp whole spice powder
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp paprika powder
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp amchur ( mango powder)
